Join us for a workshop specifically designed for regional planners and government staff, where we'll discuss workforce housing in Cowichan.

<p>Economic Development Cowichan (EDC) is developing a Workforce Housing Strategy for the Cowichan region, which will provide actionable recommendations to address the scope of the housing problem as it relates to employment. You’re invited to a virtual workshop exploring the future of workforce housing in Cowichan.</p><p>This workshop is specifically for First Nations, municipal and regional government staff, such as planners and engineers. While it is one in a series of workshops we’re hosting with different groups, this one will be more technical in nature. We’ll discuss obstacles to development, the role of local government, and the tools you need to fulfill that role. Our discussion will inform the next stage of engagement later this year, where we will brainstorm potential solutions.</p>
