The Little Medical School of Ottawa is an innovative STEM inspired program that brings medicine, science, and the importance of health to your children ages 4-14 in an entertaining, exciting, and fun way! Classes are small, educational, and implement hands-on activities and group learning.

Little Medical School offers a wide variety of educational and entertaining summer camps. We believe camp offers a unique experience for growth by allowing campers to become independent and self-confident, make new friends, and learn valuable skillsets.

Conquer the great outdoors! Camp participants will role-play emergency situations in the wild and learn how to prepare for natural disasters. These future emergency medics will learn about snake bites, hypothermia, tourniquets, poisonous plants, edible plants, distress signals, forest fires, tornadoes, mosquito bites, and more.This is an experience full of STEM-based learning, activities and crafts. Age Group: 8-12 years old🩺 The camp concludes with a graduation ceremony where each student receives a personalized diploma. 🩺 The education is based on STEM principles. It ignites the passion of future healthcare heroes and gets them excited about how the body works and the importance of health.🩺 Every day your child will return home with materials to show you what they learned. Students will be provided with all the necessary materials for each class. 🩺 The curriculum is written by board-certified physicians and experts in child education. 🩺 Our instructors are well-trained, and they have an interest in health sciences and education. They will deliver fun, engaging and interactive content. All our instructors have provided a vulnerable sector check.🩺 Your child will make new friends as lots of our activities involve teamwork, role-playing and collaboration. 🩺 Your child will have an unforgettable summer filled with lots of fun, fun ...and fun! 🤩About the locationAshbury College is a leading independent school for boys and girls in Grades 4 to 12, located in Ottawa&#x27;s Rockcliffe Park region. We are happy to partner with Ashbury College for this camp. We will conduct an outdoor wilderness walk to nearby ecosystems. Safety proceduresKeeping in mind the safety of our children, staff and volunteers, we are following applicable public health guidelines. All children are expected to abide by the safety rules in the camp. Every week before beginning our sessions, our team set safety expectations with children to follow throughout the camp. These include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Fire safety and practice</li><li>Playtime safety rules</li><li>Outdoor rules</li></ul>If you didn&#x27;t find a spot, please register for free on our waitlist and, dependent on numbers, we may open additional classes.A nut-free lunch is provided.Your child will need unscented sunscreen and a towel/picnic blanket because some classes will be conducted outdoors.
