Post Productions provides intimately-staged entertaining theatrical experiences that arouse the heart and fuel the mind, drawing patrons into lives quite unlike their own to help them understand the world, other people, and themselves with fresh insight. As a unique brand of theatre, Post Productions complements the Windsor-Essex scene by staging provocative productions for audiences that want more for their dollar – audiences looking for experiences rather than distractions, who need to be challenged and provoked, who want to think and feel and learn and take in the full spectrum of human possibility.

The Edele Winnie Women's Monologue Competition is back - offering women an opportunity to showcase their acting prowess - and win some cash!

It’s back! The 2023 Edele Winnie Women’s Monologue Competition will once again give women from the Windsor-Essex region an opportunity to show audiences and theatre professionals what they can do – and win some cash in the process!The competition consists of two nights of performances – March 17 &amp; 18 – in front of audiences and a panel of judges drawn from the local theatre industry. Each night contestants will perform their chosen monologue from award-winning playwright Edele Winnie’s brand new, second, book of monologues, Cracked Heart: 100 unusual monologues for women (available through amazon.ca). Both judges and audience members will submit scores for all contestants. Winners will be determined based on the combined average scores from both performances. Once scores from both performances have been tallied and combined at the end of the second performance (18 March 2023), winners will be announced and cash prizes bestowed. The first place (gold level) winner will receive $300. The second place (silver level) winner will receive $200. The third place (bronze level) winner will receive $100. All runners up will receive $50 – so no matter what, no participant walks away empty-handed.
