Reviewers have noted her “vulnerable yet independent, sobering yet intoxicating, personal yet universal….singularly powerful” performances. Her debut record “<a href="https://open.spotify.com/album/3CYrnB16aLOBgVoj7wLkYQ?si=uXzji_pCQ9qOMZhADAMjTA" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Broken Lonesome</a>,” produced by The Sheepdogs’ Jimmy Bowskills, featuring members of the Bahamas, and Kathleen Edwards’ band was released in 2022.</p><p>Warkworth, Ontario&#x27;s <a href="https://linktr.ee/matthewholtbymusic" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Matthew Holtby</a> has been writing  heartfelt music for the past two decades.  The former frontman of The Coachlites, Say Ritual and the Champion&#x27;s latest single &quot;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYW9M0SMHxs" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">This Old Heart</a>&quot; was released December of 2022, and the accompanying video was shot at his home with family and friends dancing in his basement. His band consists of family too, including Holtby&#x27;s own Father on piano. Holtby will be releasing a new EP in  spring 2023. </p><p><a href="https://www.instagram.com/deannaearlemusic/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Deanna Earle</a> was raised in Millbrook, Ont. where she continues to live with her two boys. Deanna has been singing since she was young and has a passion for country music. Deanna began writing songs and learned to play guitar a few years ago during a battle with cancer. Deanna decided to pursue her love of music and released an EP called “<a href="https://open.spotify.com/album/5ZSIu3TrQtOuMj0jRBxCwi" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Livin</a>’” in 2019. 2021 brought two new singles for Deanna called “Everything to You” and “Pretty Girl”. When Deanna isn’t performing or writing, she is working full-time as a teacher.</p>
