The Boys & Girls Clubs Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton & Area (BGCBigs) is a charitable non-profit organization working to provide safe places and positive mentoring relationships for children & youth in our community. We are the amalgamation of two internationally recognized child serving organizations; Boys & Girls Clubs and Big Brothers Big Sisters. We're back for another epic TEEN TAKEOVER! Join us for a day dedicated to teens, filled with career and job exploration opportunities!

What&#x27;s Teen Takeover? Teen Takeover is a special day for teens like YOU! You will have the opportunity to interact with diverse career mentors in our Edmonton area and discover the many possible future career options, including  education, criminal justice, health care, trades, and entrepreneurship! You will also get the chance to meet with Edmonton employers that will be hiring for after-school or summer jobs!Food, networking, and prizes are all part of the day!!!Why Should You Come? Teen Takeover is all about making connections with members in our community who want to support teens like you in finding work and pursuing your future passions. The day will provide you the chance to network with inspiring mentors and potential employers, receive helpful tools and support for your job search, identify your interests, talents, and passions, connect with resources that will enable you to reach your dreams, and much more.We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully.
