CSACH welcomes all to a public lecture by renowned author, Mohammed Hanif!

Fighter pilot turned author, Mohammed Hanif is amongst Pakistan’s most prolific writers and fearless journalists. Master of satire, Hanif has written three internationally bestselling novels: A Case of Exploding Mangoes (2008) Our Lady of Alice Bhatti (2011) and Red Birds (2018). In addition to his fiction, Hanif has also served at BBC Urdu service and continues to write on some of the most contentious issues of our times in various publications such as The New Yorker, Washington Post, Dawn News, The New York Times and BBC Punjabi. In his talk at the CSACH, Hanif will draw upon his extensive experience as a critically acclaimed novelist and journalist to address the role of narrative media in creating the fictions we come to believe as reality.
