OPG proudly presents Scientists in School - Science Meets Art

Located on the banks of the St. Lawrence River, Ontario Power Generation's visitor centre showcases the history of the St. Lawrence Seaway and Power Project as well as the communities and people affected, and great biodiversity stories like the American Eel. Come explore our exciting and informative interactive displays that make our visitor centre a key tourist destination in the Cornwall area.

Saunders Hydro Dam Visitor Centre

Discover what happens when science meets art! Explore perception as you use shadows, color, motion, and light to create art from science. You’ll make a puppet, a spinning-top and a kaleidoscope, as well as design your own galaxy. “The greatest scientists are always artists as well!” (Albert Einstein)*Children under six may require the assistance of an adult.Space is limited. Register today! (20 participant limit). Parents can accompany their children, but one science kit will be available per family.
