The River Institute presents a March Break Workshop about Fish Ecology

Located on the banks of the St. Lawrence River, Ontario Power Generation's visitor centre showcases the history of the St. Lawrence Seaway and Power Project as well as the communities and people affected, and great biodiversity stories like the American Eel. Come explore our exciting and informative interactive displays that make our visitor centre a key tourist destination in the Cornwall area.

This March Break, join OPG and the River Institute for a fun, free family workshop all about fish ecology!

Saunders Hydro Dam Visitor Centre

Fish Ecology Workshop: Time: 9 – 11 am Two-hour workshop / Registration required/maximum 80 participants/ recommended for all agesGuests will have the opportunity to work closely with the River Institute staff and learn all about Fish Ecology. During this workshop, guests will explore fish species ecology, diversity, anatomy, and various research methods involving fish. Additional content will be presented that will allow guests to learn more about the food web, and how to identify different types of fish species.
