Located on the banks of the St. Lawrence River, Ontario Power Generation's visitor centre showcases the history of the St. Lawrence Seaway and Power Project as well as the communities and people affected, and great biodiversity stories like the American Eel. Come explore our exciting and informative interactive displays that make our visitor centre a key tourist destination in the Cornwall area.

RRCA and OPG present a FREE Guided Snowshoe Walk and WorkshopF﻿REE SNOWSHOE RENTALS!Time: 10:00 - 11:00 am (session 1)On Friday, March 17, get in touch with nature and explore the great outdoors as the Raisin Region Conservation Authority (RRCA) and OPG are providing FREE snowshoe rentals for a guided walk with families in and around the woods along the banks of the St. Lawrence River. Warm up afterwards with a complimentary hot chocolate, grab a wildlife passport and discover a variety of fun educational activities inside the Saunders Hydro Dam Visitor Centre. Learn all about winter tree ID, watersheds and hydrology, local biodiversity, conservation practices, wildlife tracks, scat identification, and more! You may even have an opportunity to win a prize!Register today as space is limited for March Break activities!Please note that some of the programming may be altered as it is weather dependent.
