A delightful guided practice followed by a discussion and journaling, to mark March 8th, International Women's Day

Dear BIPOC cis-/trans- women and non-binary folks,Join Judy for a 90-min session filled with flowing, growing and glowing together! This 90-min session will consist of a 45-min guided yoga flow, and 45-mins of journaling and discussion over tea and snacks.<ul><li>Location: 154 MacLarent St., Ottawa, (Crystal Tierney Psychotherapy &amp; Care Cultivation)</li><li>Maximum in-person capacity: 12 people</li><li>All of our classes are introductory in nature – all ages and bodies are welcome.</li><li>In-person class: please bring your own water bottle. We have a few blocks and mats on site.</li></ul>We have tickets for online Zoom access too! Reach out to us by email at woc.yoga@gmail.com in advance if you have questions or concerns.A﻿bout Judy:My name is Judy (she/her) and I’m a 200-hr certified yoga teacher. I’ve been practicing yoga for over 3 years and finally had the chance to complete my certification at the Elevate Yoga Power of Presence YTT in December 2022. This will actually be my first public event as a teacher and I’m beyond excited to kick it off on International Women’s Day with all of you! My favorite type of yoga practice involves a breath practice, followed by a power flow to leave me feeling strong and grounded. I love any type of practice that challenges me physically and mentally such as arm balances and inversions. I also always try to incorporate certain aspects of my culture into my practice, whether it be in the playlist I curate or in the meditation. Besides yoga, I am passionate about all things social justice, and I’m currently pursuing a Masters in Feminist and Gender Studies. I am also a crafty person that loves DIY projects, and anything that involves the outdoors like hiking, rock climbing, biking, swimming, and camping. Lastly, I am a cat mom to a handsome little kitty named Koda!
