Maurizio Gioffrè from Heritage Calabria has been teaching people of all ages Italy’s national card games for over 25 years. He will show you how fun and easy it is to master these beloved Italian pastimes so you can play with your friends and family.APRIL 12: BriscolaLearn how to play Briscola, a popular card game played across Italy and loved all over the world. An easy but challenging game where players must collect the most valuable cards and use their trumps wisely!Host BioMaurizio GioffrèHead of Sponsorships &amp; Partnerships at Heritage Calabria, Maurizio first learned to play Scopa with his Prozia 25 years ago – since then he has learned multiple other games and has taught people aged 5 to 40+ how to play (it is EASY!). He is very excited to share this small, but fun part of the Italian culture and hope you can take the skills you learn and play with your friends and family.
