Join us at the Here & Home closing reception for an afternoon of photography, live performance, and light refreshments on the Toronto Island

Here &amp; Home is a group exhibition curated by Djenabé Edouard that brings visibility to the Afro Caribbean community and celebrates stories of immigration, labour and legacy.Join Here &amp; Home artists and curator for a closing reception featuring photography by Felicia Byron and a live performance by spoken word artist Syedllia Ndiaye. Ndiaye&#x27;s performance will be accompanied by a violinist. This event is an opportunity to collectively explore themes of migration, labour, and legacy. Weather permitting, part of this event will take place in the Riverdale Hub garden.Refreshments served! NOTE: THIS EVENT WAS PREVIOUSLY SCHEDULED FOR MAY 22 AT GIBRALTAR’S POINT. We are actively engaged in a dialogue that challenges the logics of capitalism and seeks to further our struggles for better working &amp; living conditions .
