Can I bring my child(ren) on this walk?

Accepted Answer

Yes.  Children are welcome on this walk.  Please note that each person attending the walk needs a ticket.

Question 2

Can I bring my dog to this walk?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately no.  We ask that you leave your pet dogs at home as this is a nature walk.  If you have a dog that is medically necessary they are welcome to attend.

Question 3

I don't have binoculars, will I need them?

Accepted Answer

We have 10 pairs of binoculars that you can borrow for this event.  If you have a camera with a zoom you can also use that to see the birds.

Question 4

What kind of birds will I see on this walk?

Accepted Answer

There are a number of different species that have been seen on St. Patrick's Island.  These vary by season.  From the very small chickadees and nuthatches to the large Bald Eagles and Ospreys.  Our naturalists will point out a variety of birds both by sight and sound.
