<P>The Nova Scotia College of Social Workers holds an annual conference each spring for members to meet, collaborate, and share knowledge. The theme of the 2019 conference is: <EM>Keys to resilience, healing, and trauma-informed social work practice</EM>.</P>
<P>The <A HREF="https://www.nscswconference.org/2019-schedule/banquet" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">NSCSW awards banquet</A> will be on Friday.</P>
<P>The <A HREF="https://www.nscswconference.org/2019-schedule/agm" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="AGM" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">NSCSW annual general meeting</A> will be held on Saturday morning, and is free to attend.</P>

<H2><STRONG>FAQs</STRONG></H2>
<H3><STRONG>Is it too late to register for the conference?</STRONG></H3>
<P>Yes, registration closed May 17. The Annual General Meeting is still open to the public and free to attend, but we are no longer accepting new registrations for the rest of the conference.</P>
<P>Next year's spring conference is May 22-23, 2020.</P>
<H3><STRONG>What time should I get there the morning of the event?</STRONG></H3>
<P>On Friday, our check-in table opens 8:00 a.m. and the conference begins at 8:45 a.m.</P>
<P>On Saturday, check-in opens at 8:30 a.m. and the AGM starts at 9:00 a.m. </P>
<H3><STRONG>What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the venue?</STRONG></H3>
<P>Parking at the Delta Marriott Dartmouth is free. </P>
<P><SPAN>The bus that runs closest to the conference venue is route </SPAN><STRONG>#66 Penhorn</STRONG><SPAN> on Brownlow Avenue. This route has daytime service every 30 minutes on weekdays, and runs hourly during evenings and weekends.</SPAN> </P>
<H3><STRONG>Do I have to bring my printed ticket with me?</STRONG></H3>
<P><SPAN>No, we will have a list of all registered attendees at the check-in table</SPAN>.</P>
<H3><STRONG>I registered, but can't come. Can I get a refund?</STRONG></H3>
<P>Refunds were available until one week before the conference, Friday, May 17. If you wish to transfer your registration to a friend or colleague, please <A HREF="mailto:annemieke.vink@nscsw.org" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="Ask a question" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">send us an email</A> with the name and email address of the person who is attending in your place, and we'll do our best to accommodate.</P>
