Paprika Festival is a youth-led professional performing arts organization. We run year round professional training and mentorship programs that culminate in a performing arts festival of new work by young artists.We generate opportunities for young artists to lead their own creative process with the support of their peers and professional mentors.We set the stage for young artists to have their voices heard in a setting that is supportive and also dependent on critical response.We ensure that young artists are well equipped to find employment in diverse cultural industries and to become our successors.

A low-stakes networking event for emerging performing artists with tea and coffee.

Daniels Spectrum

Come say “hi!” and meet artists, community members, and festival staff as we get together and enjoy some warm cozy tea or perk up with some coffee. Don’t worry, we know networking can sometimes feel awkward, so we’re providing prompts for you to try out with a new friend as you lounge. Not feeling social? Sip as you browse our Little Free Play + Theatre Resource Library — a pop-up play and theatre book exchange in Daniels Spectrum lobby.T﻿his event will be taking place in the Community Living Room of the Daniels Spectrum Artscape Building. All Paprika events are available free or by donation to the Festival. Use code FREE to reserve your spot without making a donation. The P﻿aprika Festival is made possible through support from the Canada Council for the Arts, The Ontario Arts Council, The Toronto Arts Council, The Government of Canada, Native Earth Performing Arts, The Metcalf Foundation, The Stratford Festival, and TD Bank Group.A﻿udiences are encouraged, but not required, to wear masks while attending this event (between sips!)
