Passport to Nature

The Passport to Nature program focuses on encouraging community connection to nature through the arts. With free introductory-level events, Passport to Nature allows people from all backgrounds and abilities to explore and learn about nature.

Bring your knitting, crochet, and a friend to enjoy a peaceful evening in one of our beautiful nature preserves. No knitting experience necessary, we will be providing some basic materials and instructions from Nature Trust staff Freya Clark. W﻿hat to bring: <ul><li>Weather-appropriate clothing</li><li>S﻿omething to sit on (blanket, stool, etc.)</li><li>Sunscreen and bug spray</li><li>Water and snacks</li><li>K﻿nitting/crochet materials </li></ul>This is a sit-down event and is appropriate for anyone. This nature preserve has large flat surfaces that are wheelchair accessible.
