Join us for an Online Information Session on Skills For Change's Workplace Career Connections Program

The Workplace Career Connections Program is a 5-week Employment Program that prepares and equips newcomers to understand their profession in Canada, learn successful job search strategies, increase networks, and more importantly how to secure employment, work in the Canadian environment to retain their jobs and advance their career.Program components will include: - Leadership Skills - Employment Preparation (targeted resumes &amp; cover letters, interviews, 30 second pitch/elevator speech) - Networking in the Canadian Environment - Strategic Virtual Networking - Public speaking to a virtual crowd - Labour Market Information - Job Retention and Career Advancement - Wellness practices for COVID efficient work, optimizing your home office- Mentoring for Employment - Access to employment leads- Labour Market Trends- Information sessions delivered by our employer partners- Information sessions with past clients as success stories- Simulation projects/ assignments/ exercises from real life scenarios led by experts during tenure of training.Program Eligibility: - CLB 6+ - Permanent Resident or Conventional Refugee - Internationally Trained or Educated Professional For any questions, registration and further information:Phone: 416-658-3101 ext. 206E-mail: ldavey-longstreet@skillsforchange.org
