About the Artist
Ashleigh Kay, a life-long Niagara resident, grew up with an artistically-inspired family who raised her to appreciate all types of art. As a self-taught painter with many years of experience in professional comic book-style art, she chose to branch off into teaching at the start of 2020. Since her first class of ten people in January of that year, her classes have grown in spite of the pandemic. During lockdown, Ashleigh hosted weekly, free Facebook tutorials as a way of introducing a ray of light into an otherwise dark and unpredictable time. Today, ALK Artwork has hosted events at more than 30 establishments, as well as hosting over 50 private parties — and counting! ALK Artwork is also proud to support the local community through charitable fundraising initiatives and events.
Important Reminders!
- Tickets are available 2 weeks prior to the event date at 10am
- Please only sign up for ONE Paint Night per month to allow others the chance to participate
- All attendees must have signed up and present a valid Sherkston Owners picture pass upon arrival
- Please give a minimum 24 hours notice if you can no longer attend an event you signed up for. "No Shows" will be billed a $25 fee per ticket on their owners account.
