Tony Holiday will not be making the gig tonight. Filling in will be JIMMY BOWSKILL on lead guitar-Jimmy Bowskill ,STEVE MARRINER on Blues Harp and guitar-Steve Marriner and members of DAVID WILCOX and MATTHEW GOOD. Making the best out of an unfortunate situation, this is going to be a next level show! Read on for the full, absurd story....Tony was just in Canada one week ago and played a festival in Thunder Bay, no problems. This morning when he showed up at the border, a marijuana charge from 20 years ago came up (a substance that is now legal in Canada) and this charge denied him access to Canada, though just here one week ago without any incident, no threat to Canadians, quite opposite! Made them drop their worries for an hour. He was taken into a room where guards raised their voices at him and called him a criminal. The band was so shook up by all this that when they left and took a wrong turn, cherry bombs were thrown and guns were drawn.So the result of this is one independent business owner and 2 festivals who pour their heart and soul into live music because we believe that the human spirit has less and less options to express itself these days as cash is king more than ever, have to pick up our boot straps and deal with the fall out.The dollars to hours we put into these shows seldom adds up, but seeing us all out together, having a great time and dropping our cares for a while and being reminded that life is about celebrating and having a good time as much as anything, well I&#x27;m in and I ain&#x27;t stoppin&#x27;!Thanks for your continued support now lets have a rip roarin&#x27; time tonight! Tickets still on sale and at the door.
