J﻿oin us for our very first beautiful cacao ceremony &amp; ecstatic dance at Wells Gray Resort in Clearwater BC!W﻿e will start with an opening meditation circle, followed by a simple cacao ceremony, and an ecstatic dance facilitated by Liliya Sunshine and Euvie Ivanova. We will finish with a closing circle.L﻿iliya is traveling to us from Ecuador, and will be bringing authentic cacao from the Andes.About Ecstatic Dance:Ecstatic dance is a practice of releasing the preconceived “self” and surrendering to the presence of the moment. It empowers people to freely express themselves creating an atmosphere that gives permission and courage to dance without inhibition.Ecstatic Dance is often referred to as a “journey” as the music moves through us we become co-creators surrendered to our authentic expression.Dancers may move through various states of consciousness and awareness, often feeling a deep sense of joy, peace &amp; connectedness.You may come solo or with with a friend.Everyone’s a dancer and everyone’s welcome, including kids. Kids under 12 can attend for free.What to bring:A water bottle, comfy clothes that give you full range of motion, comfy dance shoes (sneakers are ok). Prepare to sweat.The venue is open air. W﻿e will dance barefoot on the grass if the weather permits, or use the gazebo if it rains.This is a sober event.N﻿o phones or cameras allowed.S﻿chedule:2 pm - Admissions start.2:30 pm - Opening circle. Ceremony starts.5 ﻿pm - Closing circle.Please arrive early or on time so that we may all start together. We begin with an opening circle and end with a closing circle.A﻿bout the facilitators:L﻿iliya Sunshine is a self-inquiry coach and holistic hypnotherapist. Liliya&#x27;s mission is to ignite and support the remembrance of who we really are beyond the habitual identification with body/mind. After receiving her degree in economics and working in banking for 5 years, she quit and to pursue her true calling in personal transformation and got a second degree in professional coaching from Moscow State University. She has been working as a coach and therapist ever since, and has also facilitated ecstatic dance events for over 10 years. Euvie studied Psychology at the University of British Columbia and University of Copenhagen. She is a spiritual practitioner of over 15 years, having explored and taught many modalities including meditation, shadow work, music, dance, and collective intelligence practices.
