ArtWalk: In the Centre of our City

The Winnipeg Arts Council is an arm’s-length agency of the City of Winnipeg that funds, supports, and champions development of the arts on behalf of the people of Winnipeg. As a city-building organization, the Winnipeg Arts Council focuses its work on the quality of life in the city, as viewed through and influenced by the arts.

Join us for a walking tour featuring some of the public artworks that share our stories and explore our communities!

Fountain Behind Legislative Building

This 2.1 km tour will meet at the fountain behind the Manitoba Legislative Building. We will visit public artworks including: <ul><li>Louis Riel by Miguel Joyal </li><li>Marbles at Mayfair by Erica Swendrowski </li><li>Bike Racks on Broadway by Jessica Koroscil, Vanessa Kroeker and Paul Butler, and Paul Robles </li><li>N﻿iimaamaa by KC Adams</li><li>U﻿pper Fort Garry</li></ul><ul><li>Heaven Between by Bill Pechet</li></ul>Tours will run as scheduled rain or shine but will be cancelled in the event of a thunderstorm. Please note this tour is not a loop; see map for details. Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible but road and sidewalk conditions may vary. No facilities available on tour.
