Saunders Hydro Dam Visitor Centre

On August 19, join the River Institute and Ontario Power Generation at the Saunders Hydro Dam Visitor Centre in Cornwall for FREE family friendly workshops that explore Fish Ecology?The workshops provide education about the River Institutes scientific research through discussion, education about aquatic field sampling and various analysis methods. Participants will also learn about local fish species, their significance, and how to identify them using key characteristics, with a focus on native and invasive species.River Institute scientists and educators will also teach guests all about how they collect field samples for research, fish processing skills, how to measure fish, and how data is collected and interpreted.Recommended for all ages. Workshop space is limited. Admission is free. Sign-up today
