Celebrate Summer Solstice doing yoga surrounded by majestic trees! With a special Yoga Dance Flow, Breathwork and a potluck feast.

Come share in some midsummer magic!This month&#x27;s RADIANCE will be an outdoor gathering to celebrate the summer solstice. I will be guiding a special Yoga Dance Flow and Breathwork journey to welcome the light and connect with the Sun and the Earth.The location is Maple Grove Park in Kerrisdale, a beautiful and serene park with towering trees and historic old growth stumps.Dance barefoot in the park, hear the songs of the birds and the wind through the trees. In case of rain, event will be moved indoors.We will finish off our journey with the healing and ethereal sounds of crystal bowls. After closing circle, we invite you to stay for a midsummer potluck feast. Gathering to feast is a traditional way of celebrating solstice, as well as building community.Flow of the evening (hippie time may apply):<ul><li>6pm-6:33 Arrival, get settled and smudged, draw oracle cards or add to nature mandala if you feel called</li><li>6:33pm Opening Connection Circle </li><li>7-8 Yoga Dance Flow</li><li>8-8:44 Breathwork and Sound Healing</li><li>8:45 Closing Circle</li><li>9pm-Sunset: Potluck Feast</li></ul><ul>What to bring:</ul><ul><li>-Yoga mat or blanket</li><li> Waterbottle</li><li>Extra Layers</li><li>Something healthy and vegetarian for the the Potluck Feast</li><li>Bring your own plate and cutlery. To honour Pachamama, let&#x27;s minimize use of disposable items.</li><ul><ul></ul></ul></ul>How to join the midsummer magic:Sliding Scale Donation $20-40. You can donate via Eventbrite one of two ways:<ul><li>Choose Donation option and pay full donation</li><li>Choose $5 Deposit option to save your space and donate the rest in cash on day of the event.</li></ul>If finances are a barrier, I am open to other forms of energetic exchange. I received a profound spiritual awakening in 2010 after a difficult breakup which broke me open to be a channel for the Divine. I receive much of my guidance through the practice of stillness, breath, plant medicines, yoga and communion in nature.
