Birth Mark is a charity providing a safe, compassionate, non-judgmental space for women, pregnant people and families to feel empowered, supported and informed.Welcome to Birth Mark! We are a registered charity providing reproductive doula support to folks in Toronto.Our role is non-medical and provides continuous care in the form of emotional, physical, and informational support. We are a source of knowledge and comfort to our clients as they navigate pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenting while dealing with the obstacles often faced by our focus population in today's society. There is no cost to our clients to access our services.Birth Mark doulas pursue social change by assisting at-risk and marginalized individuals and their families in the navigation of the systems of sexual health, reproductive health & infant care in Toronto. The doulas’ efforts in relation to social change are focused primarily on helping clients find their own voice to advocate for the care that they want and deserve from the public medical system. Through this work, the obstacles to receiving care faced by marginalized individuals are mitigated. These issues include but are not limited to: poverty, discrimination, citizenship status, race, gender, sexual orientation, etc. Our activities seek to promote access to information, services, and resources that these individuals may need; equality of opportunity; and meaningful participation in decision making for themselves, their babies and their families.

Kyle and Brii, two seasoned doulas with Birth Mark, will guide clients and community members through some of the most talked about pregnancy and parenting topics. Come for guest speakers, snacks and refreshments, and time to shop our Giving Wall before you go home. Register for in-person or virtual attendance.

S﻿abrina is an experienced Doula. She has always been passionate about helping people through transitional times in their lives which is one of the reasons why parents love working with Sabrina as their doula. She is able to tune into their unique needs in a judgement-free and supportive way. Sabrina is passionate about making a difference in her community and has chosen reproductive health care as the avenue to do so.

Hi, I’m Kyle (she/her). I am a neurodivergent full-spectrum doula that specializes in postpartum support. I am a doula that loves and encourages all types of families and folks going through various reproductive experiences. I practice through an inclusive, non-biased and trauma-informed  lens which is refreshed through my investment in continual learning. I have a strong history in advocacy, passion for social justice and my practice is client centered. I come with a wealth of knowledge and experience that is acquired through formal training, lived experience and working in the field.  I believe community &amp; support are so beneficial during pregnancy and the 4th trimester. I am excited to co- facilitate this group! I hope we will bring our Birth Mark community &amp; families together. All types of families encouraged and welcome.
