The centre of live entertainment in the Haliburton Highlands, the Dominion Hotel is well known for intimate, high quality shows of various genres including music, spoken word - poetry, and theatre.  Our show seating plan changes depending on the style of show, performer preference and number of tickets available.  This is a small room and a favourite place to watch a show. Valdy, is a Canadian folk and country musician whose solo career began in the early 1970s. He is known for &quot;Rock and Roll Song&quot;, his first mainstream single. Valdy is the winner of two Juno Awards for Folk Singer of the Year and Folk Entertainer of the Year, and has received seven additional Juno nominations.
