A 4-part workshop series that empowers families of 9 - 13 year-olds with disabilities with knowledge, resources, and more.

Join our full-day workshop that empowers parents/caregivers of 9-13 year-olds with disabilities with knowledge, resources and a sense of direction for the future, while connecting with other families.We will touch on a variety of topics including values and belonging in the community, visioning and planning, various transitions during later elementary school, IPPs, navigating various systems (FSCD) age appropriate for families with "tween" age children as well as advocacy and having difficult conversations. DateS﻿aturday, October 14 Details<ul><li>Handouts for the event will be sent as a link </li></ul>Questions?Contact Shelley (facilitator) at Shelley@gatewayassociation.ca Friendly reminder: Please plan to join at the start time.
