The Effie Arts Collective is Kamloops’ newest event venue offering a place for the community to gather together and experience “Collective Effervescence” – a sociological phenomenon where members of an audience experience the same feeling at the same time while watching a live performance like a comedy show, concert, or play.The Effie is an Assembly Hall available for local companies and individuals  to rent for events and gatherings.422 Tranquille Rd

A Way Home Kamloops presents a live music fundraiser featuring Oscar&#x27;s Hollow and Jeremy Kneeshaw.Oscar’s Hollow is a Saskatoon-based rock band formed in 2016. With songs thattypically blend first-person storytelling with the frankness of a good confession,the group’s music evokes comparisons to outfits like The Band or Blue Rodeothe way a yellow 1974 F150 might remind you of the late-summer sun on theprairies.The band&#x27;s current lineup consists of Kris Mihilewicz playing guitar, Byron Shawon bass, Kurt Burnett on the drums and Darryl Dozlaw playing mostly keys. Leadvocal duties are shared between Mihilewicz and Dozlaw, with everyonecontributing background vocals.Having self-produced two EP’s: Oscar’s Hollow (2018) and Now Playing (2019),the band is currently developing new music with the recording of a full-lengthalbum on the horizon. Whether headlining or supporting, Oscar’s Hollow deliversa dynamic, fun live show.All Ages Doors 7:30pm Show 8:00pm
