Introducing Halifax’s premier dyslexic non-binary musician. Burry (they/them) is a A 2022 Canadian East Coast Music Award Nominee who blends elements of indie, rock, and pop to create lyrically-colourful music performed with an unforgettable stage presence. This EP is a series of love letters that Burry wrote for different events, ideas and people in their life. Come join Burry and their band for an evening full of wonderful music!The Al Whittle Theatre is a soft-seat venue in Wolfville, Nova Scotia (Canada), which is owned and operated by the volunteer-run Acadian Cinema Cooperative. $15 advanced tickets or a limited amount of $20 tickets at the door. This show is all ages and the venue is wheelchair accessible. Michael S. Ryan is an award winning professional musician, songwriter, studio owner (Hot Jupiter Sounds), and author. Hailing from small town Nova Scotia, Ryan is a true creative in every sense of the word. Ryan has been playing music professionally for the past 12 years. As the frontman and songwriter for The Town Heroes, along with his self-named solo project, he has toured the world and released 6 critically acclaimed albums. He has been the recipient of 11 Music Nova Scotia Awards, 5 ECMAs, numerous “The Coast Best Of” honours (including best band in Halifax), and multiple songwriting accolades. At the root of his work is an exploration of the things that make us all human. Whether good or bad, they’re the things that make us who we are: heartache, love, the scocioeconomic struggles of rural Canada, dreams and family.

Julia Cunningham is a singer-songwriter from Halifax, Canada. After years of quietly sharing her music with local audiences, the Music Nova Scotia grant recipient is stepping into the spotlight as a captivating emerging artist. Cunningham’s soon-to-arrive debut EP, Dive Deep, is a culmination of many years of writing, creating and fine-tuning a collection of songs that are deeply personal, yet profoundly relatable. From her warm vocals to her earnest lyrics to her skillful guitar playing, Cunningham’s folk-pop sound exudes a sense of nostalgia befitting for the end credits of a movie.

Wayne Bedecki is an emerging artist from Cape Breton Island who has been paving his way to become a rising star on the East Coast Music Scene. The singer, songwriter now resides in Halifax and found success by catching fans attention from his live performance. An outstanding writer, Wayne earned the attention of established musicians with his authenticity and drive. Wayne has written songs with Yvette Lorraine, Dave Sampson, Carlton Stone, Mike McKenna Jr., Jordan Musycsyn, Brain Cathcart (Pretty Archie), and Colette Deveaux.

A 2022 Canadian East Coast Music Award Nominee who strives to use their platform to amplify voices of marginalized communities in and out of the music industry.
