Canadian conductor and pianist Leslie Dala will perform at LCMS a selection of works by celebrated American composers Gershwin and Glass

Conductor and pianist, Leslie Dala will perform works by two of the most famous American composers, George Gershwin and Philip Glass. The programme will include a selection of Etudes by Glass and the solo version of Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, which had its world premiere on Feb 12, 1924 – almost 100 years to the day!The concert will open with an informal conversation between LCMS’ Artistic Director Elizabeth Bergmann and the artists, followed by complimentary coffee, tea and refreshments before the performance.
