Bid farewell to summer&#x27;s last sunset in anticipation of the Autumn Equinox with a mindful walking meditation. </p><p>Connect with your body, breath, and the nature of the ravine while reflecting on your life&#x27;s journey with a supportive community. Immerse yourself in a sound therapy journey and feel the healing power of earth-based instruments like Quartzophone (Crystal Harp), Crystal Bowls, Native Flute, Zaphir Chimes, and Rainsticks. </p><p>All ages are welcome, and light refreshments will be available.</p><p>Join us for an evening of connection, reflection, and healing as we bid farewell to summer and welcome the Autumn Equinox alignment.</p><p></p><p><strong>W﻿alking the Labyrinth</strong></p><p>As you approach the labyrinth, take your time and wait until the person in front of you reaches the third turn before starting. People walk at different speeds. If you meet someone on the way, simply step off your path onto another one and step back once they have passed. Once you reach the center, take as much time as you like to reflect. </p><p>Everyone is encouraged to take time before and after walking the labyrinth to reflect. Some walk around the outer circle while others sit still.</p><p></p><h3>A﻿bout the Facilitator</h3><p><a href="https://stillmoonarts.ca/2023-renfrew-ravine-moon-festival/2023-moon-festival-artists/#quantum" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Quantum Care</a>, a Neuroscience-based Educational Coaching &amp; Consultancy, revolutionizes holistic health, movement, and growth perceptions and practices. With a focus on accessibility, it&#x27;s co-led by activists, community developers and coaches Eda Ertan and Masa Kateb.</p><p>Their team offers tailored programs, wellness spaces, therapeutic classes, and more, all in alignment with the UN&#x27;s Sustainable Development Goals, fostering Self-Life-Work Balance. Quantum Care is the Wellness Partner of the Moon Festival for the second year in a row.</p><p>Lead Facilitator: <strong>Eda Ertan </strong>(she/her)</p><p>Eda is a Turkish-Canadian health scientist and Founder of Quantum Care. She&#x27;s a student and teacher of Yoga, Meridian Therapy, Sound Therapy, and Earth Medicine. With a background in Psychology, Neuroscience, Human Development and Spirituality, Eda champions preventive medicine, equity, and compassion. </p><p>Eda is also the Executive Director of Brock House Society Seniors Activity Centre and serves on the Board of Directors at BC Hospice Palliative Care Association.</p><p>Guest Musician: <a href="https://stillmoonarts.ca/2023-renfrew-ravine-moon-festival/2023-moon-festival-artists/#morgan" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"><strong>Clare Morgan</strong></a><strong> </strong>(they/them)</p><p>An Anglican priest and Celtic harpist living, working, and loving in stolen xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Skwxwú7mesh, and səl̓ilwətaɁɬ territory. They serve as pastor to the St. Brigid’s congregation at Christ Church Cathedral, Vancouver. Clare is also affiliated with the Inayati Sufi community in Vancouver and the wider Pacific Northwest, and has been sharing music among them in sama and zhikr also since 2017. Clare counts Rumi, Ibn Arabi, and Hafez as soul friends alongside St. John of the Cross and St. Julian of Norwich, and has been privileged to learn about Islam, Sufism, and the Qur’an from Seemi Ghazi, Sheikh Sherif Baba Çatalkaya, and Omid Safi. Clare currently lives in Sen̓áḵw, unceded Skwxwú7mesh territory (now known as Kitsilano), with their husband, cat, and many musical instruments and plants. The labyrinth path is narrow and lined with a stone path that may be difficult for those with mobility concerns to traverse - but we invite you to enjoy the birds, trees, and the flowing water from the bottom of the ravine. Washrooms are not available on site but can be found at the Renfrew Community Centre located 10 minutes away (~1 kilometre). </li><li>Light refreshments will be available, which may contain allergens. </li><li>Please inquire if you have concerns of any kind.</li></ul><p></p><p>This event takes place on the unceded territories of xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.</p>
