TackleShare Proudly Presents The New Anglers Workshop (1:30 p.m.)

Located on the banks of the St. Lawrence River, Ontario Power Generation's visitor centre showcases the history of the St. Lawrence Seaway and Power Project as well as the communities and people affected, and great biodiversity stories like the American Eel. Come explore our exciting and informative interactive displays that make our visitor centre a key tourist destination in the Cornwall area.

Saunders Hydro Dam Visitor Centre

This TackleShare workshop will explore many techniques about fishing for new anglers through presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on workstations.Each workshop will begin with a presentation from TackleShare&#x27;s own Alesha Howran, followed by a fun interactive game, focusing on invasive species education.Guests will be provided with a TackleShare passport and have the opportunity to explore various workstations where they will learn all about fish identification and trivia, knot tying for anglers, and a casting demonstration to work on their technique. Ontario Power Generation will also be educating guests all about hydroelectricity and water safety.Two workshops are available at 11 a.m. and 1: 30 p.m.T﻿his family friendly event has something fun for all ages.
