White Belt in Quality Improvement - October 23 and 24th, 2023

CCA is an independent non-profit offering accreditation specifically tailored to community-based health and social services across Canada. We offer accreditation founded on recognized best practices in governance, leadership, and management, and in program areas including child and youth services, community-based primary health care, community mental health and addictions, community support, and family services.  We also offer quality improvement training and support services for health and social services professionals to support them in their quest for organizational excellence and accreditation.

We are delighted to announce our next Lean White Belt Quality Improvement (QI) workshops in partnership with Leading Edge Group.

The Canadian Centre for Accreditation (CCA) in partnership with a global leader in Quality Improvement, Leading Edge Group, are delighted to announce a full suite of customized training programs that develop quality improvement knowledge, skills and capabilities for community-based health and social services.The workshops have been developed to reflect the realities of community-based health and social organizations and their service delivery context. Participants will learn key QI concepts, tools and practices that can assist in more effectively addressing the numerous challenges in delivering effective primary health care, prevention and promotion and social services.Delivered through online instructor-led workshops, participants will learn in real-time using an interactive online training platform.White BeltThe White Belt workshop will be delivered over two (2) subsequent virtual training sessions (9 AM to 12:30 PM - 3 1/2 hours each) on October 23rd and 24th.This training workshop introduces Lean quality improvement (QI) and its relevance for community-based health and social services.The workshop will focus on key quality concepts and methodologies (Lean and Six Sigma principles and 8 wastes) and tools (root cause analysis, fishbone, 5 Whys, PDSA/A3) and how they can be used to increase quality, efficiency and innovation.
