CCA is an independent non-profit offering accreditation specifically tailored to community-based health and social services across Canada. We offer accreditation founded on recognized best practices in governance, leadership, and management, and in program areas including child and youth services, community-based primary health care, community mental health and addictions, community support, and family services.  We also offer quality improvement training and support services for health and social services professionals to support them in their quest for organizational excellence and accreditation.

We are delighted to announce our next Lean Yellow Belt Quality Improvement (QI) workshops in partnership with Leading Edge Group.

The Canadian Centre for Accreditation (CCA) in partnership with a global leader in Quality Improvement, Leading Edge Group, are delighted to announce a full suite of customized training programs that develop quality improvement knowledge, skills and capabilities for community-based health and social services. The workshops have been developed to reflect the realities of community-based health and social organizations and their service delivery context. Participants will learn key QI concepts, tools and practices that can assist in more effectively addressing the numerous challenges in delivering effective primary health care, prevention and promotion and social services. Yellow BeltThe Yellow Belt workshop will be delivered over two (2) subsequent virtual training sessions (9 AM to 12:30 PM - 3 1/2 hours each) on November 27th and 28th. This workshop builds on White Belt training (prerequisite) to provide an overview of the core principles of quality improvement (QI) and outlines the essential tools and practices that can be applied across the community health and social services sector to increase service delivery efficiency and quality; improve client and employee satisfaction and reduce waste.It aims to create a basic proficiency in applying key tools and practices such as value stream mapping; standard work and 5S workplace organization in community health and social service settings.AssessmentParticipants gain an internationally recognized Yellow Belt certification through successfully completing a 1-hour exam.Group DiscountGroups of 5 are eligible for a 50% discount on the 6th registration! Individuals who register for all 3 Lean White, Yellow and Green trainings are eligible for an overall 15% discount!Please note: discounts cannot be combined.
