Celebrate body neutrality with us, as we boldly embrace all bodies as beautiful. The BODY PROJECT honours the power, vulnerability and unwavering resilience that define us all. Local artists Mary-Jo Lough and Kelly Szott began this project in 2021 with a volunteer model call. The exhibit will include Szott’s photographs and Lough’s abstract paintings of the empowered volunteer models. With a focus on appreciation rather than perfection this exhibit celebrates the variety found amongst the human form. The artists pay tribute to the unique and innate beauty we each inhabit and foster the deep respect we should strive to have for our bodies.
