Founded in 2006, ArtReach is a community-based arts organization that provides grants, workshops, mentorship, and resources to artists and cultural leaders aged 13-29 from equity-deserving populations in Toronto.

Want to up your communications game? Need tips on how to make your content clear and engaging? Unsure how to get the word out about your project/ program/ event?In this session for artists and arts programmers, we&#x27;ll walk through how to take care of your current and historical public-facing information, and how to put together an outreach kit, including tips for creating strong flyers, writing clear messaging, and making your materials easy to share. Ashley is the founder of the international organization, the <a href="https://www.instagram.com/browngyaldiary/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Brown Girl Diary</a>, which focuses on collaborating within the Indo-Caribbean community to create representation + preserve cultural identity. Ashley has been featured on BT Toronto, the Mississauga Local Radio Station, Toronto Caribbean, and Queens New York Library South Asian Heritage Month Panel. Graduating from York with a degree in political science, she has developed a career in the nonprofit sector doing communications, marketing, and branding. She also runs <a href="https://www.ashleysimpactlab.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Ashley’s Impact Lab</a>, supporting individuals and organizations with their business goals and objective including grant writing and reviewing, strategy development, copywriting, social media management, and both digital and traditional marketing.
