Anyone curious about what to do with mortal remains. Whether it's planning for their own end of life or needing to take care of it for someone else, it's helpful to know of the types of decisions to be made and options to consider.

Why should I go to this event?

Accepted Answer

It's fun to learn new things. Especially if it's something we can use. 
Also, we should all think about our mortality once in a while, and this is a fun and practical way to do just that.

Question 3

Is this event some sort of a sales pitch?

Accepted Answer

Nope! Just Gina and her head full of information, and a desire to answer your burning questions about body disposition and end of life planning. Frankly, she's just happy when people are interested in talking about death & dying.

Question 4

We'll be discussing death & dying, do I need to wear black?

Accepted Answer

No black required! Wear what makes you happy. If Goth is your thing, or you want to wear Halloween duds, do it. If you want to wear whatever you are wearing, do that.  We'll be happy to see you either way.

Question 5

Is the venue accessible for people with limited mobility?

Accepted Answer

The event is on the second floor and there is a flight of stairs and no elevator, I'm afraid.

Question 6

Is there free parking?

Accepted Answer

Yes! The venue is at Manchester Square. There is a parking lot as well as free parking on the street just east of the square. Next to the cemetery. You know. To get you in the mood.

Does the venue have a restroom?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In fact, it won Canada's Best Restroom 2023. If you came to the event just so you could check out the restroom, we would not be mad.

Will there be snacks?

Accepted Answer

Yes. light refreshments will be provided by the awesome venue provider. Thanks, Majesty & Friends!

Will this event be serving alcohol?

Accepted Answer

No, it will not.  But Manchester Square has a couple of licensed venues you could visit after the event, if you are so inclined.
