Life Stories Painting Workshop

Gordon Neighbourhood House has served as a community hub in Vancouver’s West End since 1942.We have a history of working alongside our friends and neighbours to facilitate connection, engagement and collaboration, while seizing opportunities for community development.We work alongside community and sister organizations to offer programs that reflect the needs of our diverse community.

Gordon Neighbourhood House

This painting workshop is open to all ages. The artist will share his own life experience as an immigrant and encourage participants to share their own stories, such as travel experiences, life stage transitions, etc. The artist will also show tools and techniques for participants to portray their own experiences. Workshops will be hosted in English, but artists can communicate in English and Mandarin. Materials will be provided at the workshop. *﻿The building is wheelchair accessible*Due to the limited number of spaces available for this workshop, w﻿e ask only those who intend on attending to actually register. Everyone is welcome!
