加拿大立國逾150年以來，因前殖民地惡法，對原住民及華裔、日裔、南亞裔等實施各種歧視政策。值得加人驕傲的是，不同黨派的政府勇於正視加國不公不義的歷史，三級政府分別在2006年、2014及2018年，向華人就有關排華法等歧視法例正式道歉。不幸地，新冠疫情期間針對亞裔加人的仇恨情緒有所升溫，更有人企圖標籤之為1923年排華法的延續。究竟港裔加人如何感受歧視問題？卑詩大學社工系教授殷妙仲，將以其團隊月前發表有關移居加拿大港人情況的兩份報告為切入點，探討新扺埗港人的移民經驗與身份認同問題，剖析種族歧視的幻與真。主持：鄒崇銘（前香港理工大學應用社會科學系講師、作家）
