Join CSCE Edmonton on a site tour at the 50th street overpass construction site hosted by the City of Edmonton, Alberco, and AECOM. PPE is required. In 2022, crews relocated various underground and overhead utility lines (EPCOR Water, EPCOR Transmission, EPCOR Distribution, ATCO Gas, ATCO Pipelines, Shaw, and Telus), built retaining walls to support the overpass and completed drainage work. In November, work on the northbound overpass structure began and is anticipated to be completed in 2024. Following the opening of the northbound overpass, work will begin on the southbound overpass structure.
