S﻿hiela Labao is the owner and head baker at New Pie Co (a dessert pie shop in Toronto). She has been sharing her love of baking through virutal and in person workshops for over 4 years. When she's not teaching people how to bake, she can be seen dishing out pies at New Pie (852 King Street West, Toronto) or sharing her unique recipes at The Marilyn Denis Show on CTV.

Learn how to make bakery style Kolaches (a Czech sweet pastry filled with jam) in this in person baking workshop!

The Henley Room - Toronto Argonauts Rowing Club

Kolaches are a Czech pastry filled usually filled with jam or sweet cheese. Learn how to make your very own at the comfort of your own home. Participants will learn how to make the fluffiest dough from scratch, a stove top jam, streusel and of course, how to assemble and bake the Kolaches. This is a 3 hour workshop with breaks in between to allow the dough to rest. All ingredients and tools are included in the ticket price. Participants will be able to take home their very own Kolache!
