Experiment using a ceramic tile, yupo paper, acrylic paper, fridge magnet, a small canvas and a variety of supplies. We will work intuitively to create abstract pieces and will be exploring dripping, spraying alcohol and making patters, shapes and textures using a variety of supplies. Please note, we are going to use the time together to experiment with different surfaces and try out different techniques. We will focus on ways to to start, choosing colors, making decisions while in process and how to follow your own intuitive voice. My workshops will be a good fit for you if:- want more creativity in your life- feel stuck in your artwork and are looking to change things up- made art in the past but are not so sure how to restart- a beginner - recovering from a health issue and looking to work on developing fine motor skillsOn a personal note: It has been my experience that painting with the process and experimentation in mind allows me to discover a freedom in painting that sometimes can get lost along the way. The discovery process opens me up to possibilities.Classes are open to all levels. These workshops are all different from each other, each class encourages exploration and community. They are meant to help develop your creative ideas in a playful and imaginative way.
