Teens Club Outing- Rock Climbing!

The Canadian Alopecia Areata Foundation (CANAAF)  supports those affected by alopecia areata, promotes awareness and education of this autoimmune disease and raises funds for research.CANAAF offers a support network that provides you and your family with the right environment to develop your own perspective and experience of alopecia, if and when you seek such assistance. We ensure that you hear about current research, and that you have the opportunity to provide related feedback and insights. We want you to join us in spreading awareness of and to aid in each other's journey to prosperity. CANAAF works with other alopecia-focused organizations to share ideas and activities, so that you can benefit and grow. We are here as your collective voice, for your support and awareness, and in communicating with health professionals and government.

Join us and your CANAAF friends for an afternoon of rock climbing at True North Climbing in North York! For Teens 13-18 years old.

True North Climbing

Calling all CANAAF teens! For our next group activity, we will be scaling the walls of True North Climbing on Saturday November 16th. This event will take place immediately following the Saturday Success Session at the North York Civic Center. You and your family/friends are encouraged to attend BOTH! After the Success Session, the teens will travel with Teen Support Leader Ana-Laura to True North Climbing for an intro lesson before you and your CANAAF team conquer the walls! Make sure to bring comfortable clothing and running shoes.If you are meeting the group there, please arrive at True North by 1:30 pm.Parents must submit True North Climbing&#x27;s waiver: <a href="https://www.truenorthclimbing.com/waiver/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.truenorthclimbing.com/waiver/</a>ANDsign CANAAF&#x27;s <a href="http://www.canaaf.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Canaaf_Waiver-2019.pdf" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Teens Club Waiver</a>.
