ArtistsBish Uprety is a creative director and photographer based in Toronto. Being an immigrant and having a different perspective on the everyday, he has cultivated his own sense of style through his art. Bish has always had a keen sense for authenticity and makes his subjects feel comfortable enough to be themselves in front of the camera. Bish has also delved into deeper and more introspective topics through his personal work. He’s not afraid to share his emotions with the world.Abdul Rehman was born in Multan, Pakistan in 1999 and migrated to Canada with his mother and brother to join his father. He is a multidisciplinary artist that works in mediums such as photography and 3D design in order to execute his ideas and concepts. The basis of his work is heavily inspired by self taught painting which carries into his photographic practice as well as his 3D work. The work is often based on ideological concepts that are to be questioned and explored. Further, he is also very interested in exploring the emotional landscape of our social, personal and emotional lives especially in how they interact with each other as well as their environment. Artist Statement: In the realm of the everyday and the often-overlooked, we unearth the profound. The essence of existence resides not solely in grand gestures but in the beauty of the minutiae, the heartbeat of life's simple, unassuming moments. It is here, amid the gentle rustling of leaves, the whispered conversations, and the fleeting glances, that we find the profound poetry of 'what is essential is invisible to the eye.' This collection invites you to linger in the silent spaces and savor the poetry of the ordinary, where the soul of our existence finds its purest expression.
