It is with great regret that we must postpone the FCAT Undergraduate Conference that was to take place on Friday, March 20.At this time, provincial health authorities are advising against all public gatherings of more than 50 people in an effort to contain the COVID-19 virus. While the interest in this event was high, we recognize the need to prioritize the health and safety of the SFU community, faculty, staff and students. We must minimize the risk wherever possible.We are thankful to the 113 people who have already registered for UGC, to our students for all their hard work in preparing their presentations, and to our faculty and staff for organizing the event.If you have any questions about how SFU is responding to COVID-19, please refer to the SFU FAQs.We appreciate your understanding and look forward to rescheduling the event on a later date. The FCAT Undergraduate Conference (UGC) is a celebration and exploration of the diverse range of student work produced within our faculty. Students from each of our schools and programs have the opportunity to showcase performances, papers, installations, and displays. The conference is an opportunity for students, faculty, staff and industry members to come together, share knowledge and build meaningful connections. come check out the incredible lineup of student presentations, installations, and short films!

We are making every effort to reduce ecological, social and economic impacts and there are a number of ways you can contribute. We always encourage our attendees to please use public transit or carpool with friends, family and/or colleagues, to our events (it is one of the fastest ways to get to our campuses!). 

We encourage you to please bring your water bottles and notepad/pens, if possible. There are also water fountains on site.

Location: SFU Goldcorp Centre for the Arts is located between Abbott Street and Cambie Street, with Hastings Street to the South and Cordova Street to the North. It is a 10-minute walk from Vancouver’s transportation hub, Waterfront Station, where Skytrain, Seabus, and Westcoast Express stations are easily accessible. Transit/Carpooling Information:
City buses run directly from Waterfront station to the Hastings side entrance of Goldcorp Centre for the Arts and the centre is a 5-minute walk from the Stadium-Chinatown Station on Skytrain's Expo-Milennium Line. 
We are located on a major bus route and within easy walking distance of SkyTrain and SeaBus. Plan your transit trip at www.translink.ca or call 604.953.3333.
•	From East Vancouver: take the #10 Granville (from Kootenay Loop); #8 Downtown (Fraser); or #20 Downtown (Victoria Drive).
•	From South Vancouver: take the #3 Downtown (Main and Marine); or #16 Arbutus (29th Ave Station).
•	From Richmond and Vancouver’s west side: take the Canada Line.
•	From Port Coquitlam, Coquitlam and Port Moody: take the #160 Vancouver or the Millenium Line Skytrain via the Evergreen Line Extension.
•	From North Burnaby: take the #95 Burrard Station.
•	From North Vancouver: take the SeaBus.
•	From West Vancouver: take any Blue Bus into downtown Vancouver to its terminus.
•	From Surrey and New Westminster: Take SkyTrain.
***Please note that at this time, the building is only accessible via the Cordova Street courtyard entrance.
Parking:
There is an EasyPark lot located on Cordova Street across from the centre at 65 West Cordova Street. There is also a parkade under the International Village Mall (http://www.internationalvillagemall.ca), located at 88 W. Pender, which is a 5-minute walk away from Goldcorp Centre for the Arts. 

Street parking is available but limited.
