Lead vocalists Thorsten Abel (guitar) and Tamla Mah (percussion), are joined by, Doug Liddle (guitar and vocals), Gabrielle Ng (bass), Damion Gray (keyboards), and Tim Huston, (drums and percussion). The band is inspired by 60's harmonies and beats that explode into killer guitar riffs and segues. They're known for their stunning visual presence, dramatic presentation and no-holds-barred energy. Hotel Empress is characterised by a collision of styles, their sounds blend into a vision of indie synth-rock that’s both light and dark, tender and fiery. You can dance or rage into the twilight hours. Featuring, Kat (Vocals / Guitar), Jay - (Backing Vox / Guitar / Synths), Cory (Synths / Percussion), Regis (Backing Vox / Bass), and Mark, (Drums). Humanoid No More is Jamie (echoes and loops) and Daryl (samples and keys), a Vancouver-based hypnotic beats duo that melds sci-fi soundtracks and 90s club/hip-hop sounds to appease the aliens.
