Accepted Answer

Avant-Garde Bar is steps from the Rideau LRT station, and can be accessed by OC Transpo buses 5, 7, 9, 12 and 14 (get off at Rideau A station). If you're coming by car, parking is available at the Rideau Centre (Besserer St. entrance).

Question 2

Is the Avant-Garde Bar licenced?

Accepted Answer

It sure is! And not only does it have a selection of cocktails and craft beer, it also has a wide selection of food, too, including salads, nachos, and Bolshevik-themed canapés, too!

Question 3

Is the Avant-Garde Bar accessible to people with mobility issues?

Accepted Answer

Somewhat. While there are two steps to get from the entrance down into the bar, the bar is not accessible to wheelchair users. The venue does not have accessible parking on the premises.

Question 4

Accepted Answer
