NSCSW Lunch & Learn: Social work & animal hoarding

Nova Scotia social workers are invited to learn about animal hoarding.

<p>Amberlee Boulton, RSW, is a PhD student studying public health and service responses to animal hoarding. The Nova Scotia College of Social Workers (<a href="https://nscsw.org" title="https://nscsw.org" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">NSCSW</a>) has invited her to offer our members an overview of knowledge gained from her doctoral research.</p><p><br></p><h3>Eligibility</h3><p>All active, associate, retired associate, and student members of NSCSW are welcome to attend; our professional development programming is part of our member services funded by <a href="https://issuu.com/nscsw/docs/connection_spring2023_webfinal/42" title="https://issuu.com/nscsw/docs/connection_spring2023_webfinal/42" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">annual registration fees</a>. You'll need a device that can use <a href="https://zoom.us/test" title="https://zoom.us/test" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Zoom</a>, and a reasonably reliable internet connection.</p><h3><br></h3><h3>Professional development tracking</h3><p>For members of NSCSW, participating in this event is eligible to be tracked as <strong><strong>formal professional development</strong></strong> as defined by NSCSW's guidelines for <a href="https://nscsw.org/pd" title="https://nscsw.org/pd" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">annual professional development</a>.
