So YOU think YOU can DRAG IIGet ready for the fiercest drag competition in town! So YOU think YOU can DRAG II is back and better than ever. Join us at the Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel in Surrey, BC, Canada for a night of fabulous performances and jaw-dropping talent.5 community leaders take the challenge. Each raises money for their charity of choice. They then take on a drag persona. They will be mentored and made up by 3 amazing Queens - Myria LeNoir, Carlotta Gurl and Mina Mercury. Our challengers are (in no particular order)Rory Morgan (Surrey Board of Trade, raising pledges for the BC Cancer Society – Tour de Cure),Mike Starchuk (MLA Surrey-Cloverdale, raising pledges for Surrey Firefighters Charitable Society),Cole Izsak (Founder and CEO of Back on Track Recovery raising pledges for BOTR),Doug Tennant (CEO UNITI raising pledges for Peace Arch Hospital Foundation)Jose Valazquez (Executive Director, Residential Operations, raising pledges for Atira's 2STGD Housing.All in attendance get to vote for the winner. Winner will receive a tiara and matching funds to a max of $5000 for their charity. Appies will be served and A NO HOST BAR. ******DOORS 5.30pm - DRAG SHOW 7PM - LIVE BAND KARAOKE 8PM****** Live entertainment special guests - "The Apartment" will be playing before the drag part of the evening and then again after, so we can create a celebratory dance party environment until 11pm. Tickets will be on sale January 15th.
