What is Canadian Marketing League you ask? Canadian Marketing League is Canada's LARGEST marketing case competition, allowing for students across the country to further their growth and potential in the marketing world, while proving their skills on a national stage. Over the program’s 16 year history, CML has kickstarted over 130 careers, awarded 22 cars and presented $570,000 in prize money. This year, Canadian Marketing League is working with over 7 learning partners in a multitude of industries with companies such as Microsoft, McDonalds, CIBC, PepsiCo, Kraft Heinz, Dentsu, and Environics Analytics.What will you learn in this workshop, Don't Be The Hero?: To effectively market to customers you have to think like a customer. Only when you think like a customer, can you truly be relevant and relatable. Reframe your thinking so your customers are the hero in their own journey.In this workshop, we are joined by the Strategy Director at Cossette, Jacky Li: Jacky Li is a past alumni who got his first career start from CML / Top Ad. He now builds brands and help bring them to life. He has over a decade of experience working on local to global brands. Currently he is a strategy director at Cossette.
