Lindy hop is a wonderful, joyful dance for all ages!This dance comes to us from the ballrooms of Harlem in the late 1920s, 30s and onward.Join us for some swing dancing fun - no partner required!This is a 6-session class for beginners.(Already took the intro? Register for the next level <a href="https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/79835525205" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">here</a>)By the end of this class, you&#x27;ll be able to dance Lindy Hop at social dances both here in the Valley and in Halifax! Class ScheduleJan 19Jan 26Feb 2Feb 9Feb 16 (no class, long weekend)Feb 23Mar 1Note that this is a progressive course, so we ask that you attend all sessions.Each session runs 1.30 - 2.45pm, followed by a practice session until 3.30. Members of our intermediate class will join us for the practice session - a great chance for dancers of all levels to practice together! This is a social dance, so whether you sign us alone or with a partner, we&#x27;ll rotate dance partners during each session, so you&#x27;ll get to dance with different people, which accelerates our learning.All ages &amp; genders welcome - come one, come all!If getting a ride to Greenwich is a barrier, get in touch and we&#x27;ll help find ride-sharing options within the group as best we can.This class is taught by Bruno &amp; Selah from Kentville.Childminding in a separate room is available. Cost for this will be shared amongst all those needing it.
